REACT EMS attempts to transport to the nearest appropriate hospital. There are times however; that the patient may need speciality care. Such as in the case of trauma, burns, and so forth. During those critical times, the Paramedics may determine the need to divert to what is best suited for your needs in order to avoid a pro-longed time lapse in the urgent and emergency care you require.

What makes us special? In large metropolitan areas, such as Chicago, Houston, and Atlanta, many paramedics work a very small grid, sometimes less than two square miles. They are limited to strictly Metro emergency and paramedic services. However, at REACT EMS, we cover more than 1,200 square miles. We are well-trained to support Urban, Metro, or Rural critical care transportation.
